Life in the Spirit World

This series of books, recommended by the Brazilian Spiritist Federation, is designed to be studied after or alongside the works of Allan Kardec.

It is important to follow the sequence of the books as listed, as they represent a progression and deepening of knowledge.

For those new to the series, it is worth noting that the psychography or automatic-writing was received by Francisco Candido Xavier, also known as “Chico,” who was one of Brazil’s most prolific mediums (1910-2002).

The author, Andre Luiz, was a doctor in his previous life but had no particular religious leanings. He led a normal life and was dedicated to his profession. Upon returning to the spiritual world, however, he found himself in an unpleasant and dark place, feeling alone and confused.

It was only after some time that he was rescued and brought to Nosso Lar, where he began his spiritual awakening, ultimately becoming a spiritual teacher. His journey corresponds to what many non-believers experience after death.
